Second ÖKOPROFIT Workshop in Penzberg

11.04.2018

We were delighted to host the second workshop on 11th April 2018  of the current ÖKOPROFIT programme (combining ECO and PROFIT) run by the region of Bad-Tölz-Wolfratshausen, Starnberg and Weilheim-Schongau as the issues were highly topical and relevant for many of the participating businesses: data protection and energy management in connection with Industry 4.0.

Helmut Mair, Head of Quality and Environmental Management, and Stefan Schleicher, Managing Director of Schleicher Fahrzeugteile, welcomed the participants and they were followed by Philipp Poferl, Projekt Manager from the convening company Arqum GmbH; together with the participating companies he discussed current organizational subjects in connection with the ÖKOPROFIT programme.

He then handed over to Andreas Stürzl, the certified data protection auditor, who spoke about the consequences of the implementation of the EU GDPR on 25th May 2018 in the various departments in a business, giving examples of resulting changes. After a tour of our modern, spacious manufacturing plant, Engelbert Lang from Siemens AG talked about energy management in a digital enterprise.

The representatives of the participating companies were given the opportunity to ask the experts questions and to exchange relevant information and experiences from their daily working life.

Eco-friendly while increasing profits – that’s the aim of the ÖKOPROFIT programme involving committed businesses who are continually searching for ecological improvement and saving potential. Here we have the support of professional eco-consultants from Arqum GmbH. The next two workshops will deal with Green IT and Smart Home, taking in photovoltaics and solar systems.
